Ieri ho trovato Jon Bryant (nato il 22 gennaio 1986) è un cantautore canadese. Nativo di Halifax ma con base a Vancouver, British Columbia, Bryant scrive e canta canzoni acusticamente melodiche con influenza marittima.
Bryant è nato a Halifax, in Nuova Scozia. Cresciuto a Fall River, nel New York, ha frequentato la George P. Vanier Junior School e la Lockview High School. Bryant si è laureato nel 2004 presso la Caronport High School di Saskatchewan. Ha studiato pianoforte e in seguito ha imparato a suonare la chitarra e la batteria. Ha frequentato il Nova Scotia College of Art and Design.
Attualmente risiede a Vancouver con sua moglie Bree (Woodill) Bryant, attrice e modella di Halifax.
Oltre a scrivere e cantare le sue canzoni, Bryant ha fatto tournée in tutto il Nord America e in Europa ed è un artista sostenitore di World Vision mentre si esibisce con il gruppo musicale canadese Starfield .
L’album di debutto di Bryant, Two Coasts for Comfort , pubblicato il 29 ottobre 2009, è stato ” iTunes Singer / Songwriter Album del 2009″ e ha ottenuto una nomination al East Coast Music Music 2011 per “Folk Album of the Year”.
Nel maggio 2012, Bryant ha pubblicato il suo album di follow-up, What Takes You , che comprendeva numerosi musicisti canadesi, tra cui il vincitore del premio JUNO Meaghan Smith e il chitarrista Jason Mingo.
Bryant si è esibito due volte alla cerimonia dei Juno Awards.
